Volunteer Program

Would you like to be a part of the SHRINE COMICS journey? Would you like to be part of the manga/comic industry but are not a creative?

SHRINE COMICS is growing fast and it’s getting hard for us to keep up! So we are happy to announce the SHRINE COMICS VOLUNTEER PROGRAM!

We are looking for volunteers who can help out in 3 key areas of our business.

• Editorial
• Marketing
• Events & Community

EDITORIAL
Volunteers who work in our editorial space will help with making sure our creators submit their pages on time, while also helping with correcting spelling and grammar. Editorial volunteers will also help in the monthly cover design process. For the time being, volunteers WILL NOT be working with creators to breakdown stories for their series, but could in the future.

MARKETING
Marketing volunteers will be managaing and creating post for social media platforms (Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter etc).

EVENTS & COMMUNITY
These volunteers will help with the planning and managament of events such as the ONE-5HOT competitions and creator livestreams, as well as moderating our Discord server.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
As the name suggest, volunteering is unpaid work. Although we are growing quickly, we are still a very small company and can not offer payment for these positions. However when things change and we can offer payment, those who are part of our volunteer program will be first in line for those positions. What we can offer now, is real-life work expereince and an entry point into the industry. There will also be staff exclusive perks you will have access to (eg: Discounts to our merch and Shrine app perks).
